We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team.
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in AutoCAD and possess a deep understanding of residential building regulations and construction practices.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, from single-family homes to multi-unit developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop architectural plans and drawings for residential projects.
* Utilize AutoCAD software to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and blueprints.
* Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
* Stay updated on the latest building codes, standards, and industry best practices.
* Perform site visits and assessments to gather essential data and ensure design feasibility.
* Prepare and submit planning applications and permit documentation as required.
* Work closely with clients to understand their specific design preferences and requirements.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members, as necessary.
* Assist in the construction phase by addressing design-related issues and revisions.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (preferred).
* Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a minimum of 3 years in residential design.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
* In-depth knowledge of residential building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
