An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join an established and growing principal contractor who are continually invested in their business throughout 2020. Due to the increase in enquiries over the last 6 months they are now actively recruiting for an Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team starting in January 2021.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide tenders/quotations from client's enquiries
• Accurate calculation of quantities and prices where required
• Preparation of Contractors proposals
• Direct liaison with both our internal and external clients, sub-contractors and suppliers
• Create enquiry packages including detailed scope of works and attendances to meet the clients brief, issue and engage with supply chain and manage the prompt return of information.
• Assist to develop and evolve Supply Chain to serve the different market sectors.
• Maintain accurate records and electronic data.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines without compromising the accuracy or quality of the estimate.
• Assist in the procurement and purchasing of materials.

The ideal candidate will hold a construction related qualification (HNC to Degree Level). Previous experience of estimating with a main contractor on education, residential, commercial sectors would be advantageous.
