Anderselite are currently looking for an Environmental Manager/ Project Manager for a busy Consultancy in Cardiff city centre.

You'll have a background in project and programme management, including experience of working on significant infrastructure projects. The consultancy will look to you to support their site staff to ensure all projects are environmentally compliant and develop their in-house environmental documentation, processes and procedures. You will need a good knowledge of relevant legislation (in both England and Wales) and a track-record of working as an environmental manager or adviser.

You will also need to support the site environmental team in providing advice and practical site based solutions especially in terms of ecology, invasive species, run off, silt mitigation, air, noise and water monitoring.

Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential for this role. Youll ideally have some knowledge of ecology, and if not you will liaise closely with in-house ecologists. Familiarity with a recognised project management methodology such as PRINCE2 would also be beneficial, as would experience in GIS and mobile apps. The role will include mentoring and supporting colleagues and travel to projects in England and Wales (or elsewhere as required).
