Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Site Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Engineering Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating our engineering projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background and possess the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.


Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, including site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor project progress, identify and address any potential risks or issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure successful project completion.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety and implementing appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, progress, and adherence to specifications and standards.
• Manage and oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality assurance records.
• Liaise with clients and provide regular updates on project status, addressing any concerns or queries promptly and professionally.
• Promote and uphold the company's reputation for excellence, quality, and professionalism.


Requirements:
• A solid engineering background, with a degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in site management within the groundwork and civil engineering sector.
• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction techniques, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• A commitment to health and safety practices and regulations.
• A valid driver's license.
