Job Title: Electrician - Social Housing Responsive Repairs

Location: Leeds, UK

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join their team and contribute to our mission of ensuring safe and comfortable living environments.


Job Description:

Perform responsive electrical repairs and maintenance in social housing properties.

Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and safety systems.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their concerns and ensuring minimal disruption.

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency repair services outside of regular working hours.


Requirements:

 

Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).

Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repairs, preferably in a social housing context.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault-finding, and repair techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Full UK driving license.
