Electrical Project Manager

An established M&E contractor, based in the Greater Manchester area are looking for an established Electrical Project Manager to join their collaborative management team.

You (the candidate) will have the chance to prove yourself within an established business working on a variety of interesting projects.

Responsibilities
• To manage and deliver complex multi-discipline (electrically biased) projects successfully.
• To provide electrical engineering expertise to multiple projects.
• To implement the comapny's engineering processes and tools.
• To interpret designs and procure all electrical plant & materials within budget and to maximise profit.
• To provide technical electrical assistance to in house and sub-contract labour.
• To lead and deliver successful projects as part of a successful operational delivery team, on time and within budget.
• Provide technical expertise, lead the project team and develop/maintain a productive efficient working relationship.
• To build on existing client relationships and form new.
• Ensure compliance to all company policies and procedures. Liaise closely with the Project, Commercial, Engineering/Design and Estimating teams.

Experience Required
• A minimum of 7 years’ project management experience
• Comfortable with working independently on project managing electrical services (small power, lighting, security systems, fire alarms etc)
• Previous experience working on projects worth £500,000 to £5,000,000
• Able to use Microsoft packages and read/interpret drawings
• NVQ, HNC or relative electrical qualifications is essential to the role
• Experience as an electrician would be an advantage
• Pharmaceutical/healthcare experience would be an advantage

Package
• Salary negotiable depending on experience (circa £55,000 to £58,000 DOE)
• Car/Car allowance £4,500
