Electrical Contracts Manager - Permanent - Coventry with London travel - £55,000 plus benefits

AndersElite are recruiting for an Electrical Contracts Manager for a national building services contractor, based in their Coventry office.

This is a permanent position, available ASAP (November 2021 onwards) and will offer a salary, depending on experience of approximately £50-55,000 per annum plus benefits, including company car or car allowance, excellent company bonus scheme, pension and some private healthcare.

Our client is well established in the UK building services market, so this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to be part of a developing team and thriving business.

Reporting into the regional Operations Director, the selected candidate will be required to manage all electrical services elements on new build and refurbishment projects, usually in the commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors, possibly working on more than one project at a time.

Typical projects will range in value from £1m-10m in electrical services value, so applicants should have proven experience as the overall electrical lead on projects of this size in relevant building environments. You will be required to manage and coordinate the project based teams who are on site all week, balancing your time between the office (Birmingham) and site as required.

Many of the projects are likely to be in London so you should be prepared to travel during the working day and occasionally stop over if needed. All travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the employer.

The Electrical Contracts Manager will be fully commercially responsible for the running of allocated projects from inception through to completion, overseeing design and project planning and managing the site installation team to deliver the project. The selected candidate will also be responsible for final account performance.

This position is available from November 2021, with applications welcome from candidates who are either immediately available or serving a notice period with their current employer.

It is advantageous for candidates to possess a degree / HNC in Building Services or any other technical qualifications, including SMSTS / CSCS for site management, although all applicants will be judged primarily on their previous experience.
