Digital Engineering Manager

Location: Northwest
Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum plus car allowance and package

A Tier 1 main contractor with a global presence is in need of a reliable Digital Engineering Manager to join their team on a permanent basis and actively assist in the deployment of Digital Engineering technologies. You will be required to undertake QA audits at regional level and manage digital engineering team on several exciting projects ensuring regular implementation of digital technologies across all projects.

Responsibilities:
• Support Digital Engineers in their day-to-day job, providing training and guidance.
• Provide support to Lead Digital Engineer during BIM Kitemark accreditation.
• Responsible for digital collaboration platform at regional level (BIM Collab)
• Produce standard BIM guidance documents and templates outlining the divisions approach, procedures, and standards.
• Provide up to-date advice on all new Digital Engineering technologies and tools.
• Propose, develop, and support potential business benefits that can be derived through the utilisation of current and future Digital Engineering technologies.
• Support Pre-construction team defining Project Digital strategy during tender stage.
• Provide updates to the regional team to the divisional Digital Engineering procedures, processes and plans to align with any newly adopted Digital technologies and or tools.

What we require from you:
• Working knowledge of ISO19650-1, ISO19650-2, ISO19650-3, BS 1192-4:2014, ISO19650:5.
• Familiarity with IFC and common data exchange formats.
• Experience with Viewpoint for Projects
• Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage).
• Solibro Office
• BIM Collab (or similar collaboration platform)
