Job Title: Design Manager (Modular Healthcare)
Location: NW region- office based.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum plus package (negotiable subject to experience)
Type: Permanent

A market leading provider of modular building is seeking a result driven design manager to join their team on a permanent basis and coordinate all design management activities on healthcare projects. You will be reporting directly to the Senior design manager ensuring projects designs are delivered from initial conception to point of delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage both in-house and external design team members & chair design team meetings.
• Contribute expertise to planning and coordination processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
• Establish a robust platform for communication and collaboration among relevant parties.
• Ensure an effective flow of design and production information.
• Proactively identify and address onsite and offsite design issues, minimizing risks before they materialize.
• Effectively manage and control costs throughout the design process to ensure adherence to budgets.
• Prepare, manage, and secure all-party ownership of an integrated design programme.
• Develop a deep understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to keep the organization at the forefront of legislative requirements.
• Analyse tender documents to comprehend client requirements for the scheme, assisting in the preparation of tender proposals.

What we require from you?
• Degree qualification in construction or relative field
• 5 years’ experience in design management.
• Ability to plan, report, organise and project manage, especially in relation to programme output.
• Previous experience within the Healthcare sector (preferred)
• Highly organised with an in-depth commercial acumen and contractual awareness
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards

You will be an integral cog to the continuing commitment to enabling and promoting new sustainable modular developments of Hospitals across the UK.
Previous experience in healthcare sector is highly desirable.
