Design Manager - civil engineering/construction/utilities sector - £500-£600 per day inside IR35 only - 12 month initial contract, workload currently secured until April 2025. 

Responsibilities
• Management and delivery of design information in accordance with Design management procedures
• Ensuring that our appointed design consultants carry out their duties in line with their appointment. The role may encompass input at both preconstruction and construction stage of a project.
• The production of design programmes, design scopes, design responsibility matrices, appointments, schedules to record progress, upline reporting, attending/chairing necessary meetings and workshops
• Ensuring that the design is compliant with the client’s requirements, relevant legislation, and the appropriate technical standards
• Experience in a design role for a main contractor, or a consultant design practice in a similar role
• Proven experience in managing design teams in construction/civil/engineering/utilities projects.
