MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Engineering Team with a Delivery Engineer for our @one Alliance (Anglian Water) joint venture framework. Based at the Peterborough office, you will be responsible for supporting the PDM, PCM and Planner in successful delivery of projects from asset planning to asset operation. To deliver these by complying with Alliance Governance and processes specifically Project Management, Health & Safety, Commercial, Risk & Value, Budget.
The @one Alliance is a collaborative organisation of consultants and contractors working together to deliver more than half of Anglian Waters capital investment programme.

You will report directly to the Project Lead and the responsibilities will include:
Coordinate and manage the contract requirements relating to design solutions, construction and commissioning.

Collaborate with the technical manager as per the delivery strategy to ensure excellence in health and safety in design.

Apply production management on all projects. Work with the production managers and site teams to reduce waste and minimise carbon – through materials, time and ways of working.

Report all scope changes and ensure that the change control process and technical query process are adhered to.

Work with the Planner, design & site teams to update the programme as required.

Support effective and efficient close out of all projects to meet the client’s requirements and enable final accounts completion.

Support the commercial team in development and subsequent management of subcontracts.

Provide information to the planner to support creation and maintenance of a single programme to represent all projects, supported by a single source of information for each project.


About You
Essential
Engineering/ technical qualification (HNC minimum) required

Working knowledge of various conditions of contract especially NEC

Desirable

Relevant professional qualification an advantage

Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment
