Painter & Decorator – High-End Domestic Homes

We’re recruiting for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our clients team working on high-end private homes and bespoke refurbishment projects across the North West. This is a role for someone who genuinely takes pride in their work and understands what “top-quality finish” really means.

You’ll be working on some of the region’s most impressive properties, from full interior refurbishments to fine-detail decorating on occupied and newly renovated homes. The work demands precision, a tidy approach and the ability to deliver a flawless result first time.

Key Responsibilities

High-standard painting and decorating on private domestic and heritage properties

Full surface preparation including filling, sanding, priming and undercoating

Applying various finishes including gloss, satin, matt and spray finishes

Hanging wallpaper, vinyls, fabrics and decorative coverings

Maintaining a clean, professional work area at all times — particularly in occupied homes

Working closely with site managers, project leads and homeowners to meet specifications and deadlines

Delivering consistent, high-quality workmanship with a strong focus on client satisfaction

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in domestic painting and decorating (high-end preferred)

Proven track record of fine finishing, detailing and clean workmanship

Must have own tools, brushes, rollers and whites

Full driving licence and own transport required

Valid CSCS card preferred but not essential

Reliable, punctual and presentable — must take pride in both appearance and work

References or portfolio of recent high-spec work advantageous
