Customer service representative
Location: Exeter EX2 7HR
12 month contract
8:30-4:30 or 9-5 office based
Rate: £14.71 per hour

The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for delivering high quality customer service with every interaction with South West Water and Bournemouth Water developers, home owners and all other customers. A Customer Service Representative is responsible for efficient handling and fulfilment of Developer Services inbound and some outbound telephone customer contacts, in conjunction with administration tasks including post/emails, updating corporate systems and processing applications. You will be responsible for professionally taking inbound customer calls, providing the right information first time or ensure customer expectation is clearly managed and left with a good understanding of next steps.

Essential skills and experience:
• Experience in working in a contact management or customer service environment.
• Good general standard of education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent including mathematics and English at grade C or above.
• Ability to articulate and explain detailed information to customers over the phone.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Drive and determination to make a real difference to internal and external customers.
• Self-motivated, punctual and able to work to deadlines.
• Adaptable to change in a flexible, fast paced working environment.
• Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience of Microsoft CRM system or something similar.
• Understanding of Developer Services or Operational activities in the Water industry.
