CONTRACTS MANAGER - (Fire protection)
Remuneration: £55-£60k per annum plus package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to join a major property service contractor in the UK. This role is a combination of site based and office based duties as such regular travel is expected around the East and South East regions.

The client has over 35 branches nationwide and specialise across several sectors. As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the overall ownership of the on-site project from launch though to handover ensuring that work is done safely, on time and within budget. You will be responsible for multiple projects and managing various teams of people of all abilities, leading the project team/supply chain and setting highest standards possible.

Core duties:
• Ensuring that projects are in compliance with current fire regulations and ensure key deadlines are achieved.
• Ensuring quality of work is of a very high standard.
• Establish good relationships with clients and all key stakeholders with a view to securing repeat business.
• Strict control and adherence for all Health and Safety matters
• Manage Clients expectations
• Coordinate the design
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate the works
• Programme the works
• Contract Administration

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working as a Contracts Manager and significant experience with fire protection strategies. You will need a valid CSCS Card, SMSTS, clean driving licence and a construction related qualification. In additional you will have an excellent understanding of contracts (NEC3 and JCT).
