Our client is seeking a highly skilled Construction manager/coordinator for the Box Encapsulation Plant Joint Venture Project based at the nuclear site Sellafield.

Project Overview:
The Box Encapsulation Plant (BEP) project is a critical construction initiative at the Sellafield Site, integral to the 100-year clean-up program. The plant's primary function is to encapsulate nuclear waste from various legacy waste plants, including the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo.

As part of the BEP Joint Venture project, the Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing interfaces within a specific area to ensure the successful delivery of the construction project.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing interfaces between Project Management (Package Manager) and Construction (Discipline) to ensure the readiness and successful execution of construction works in a designated area.

The role will involve collaboration with Construction Discipline Leads, Package Managers, and stakeholders to address construction requirements in line with the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

*Accountable for driving the delivery of the schedule for the designated physical area.
*Attend daily/weekly construction meetings and provide input for reporting to the Area Project Manager(s).
*Coordinate and manage interfaces between package managers and multiple discipline site operations for efficient construction delivery.
*Represent the Area JV Project Management function at pre-construction Engineering and Procurement interface meetings, including Constructability reviews.
*Liaise and attend meetings with the Client’s, Construction team and stakeholders.

*Coordinate construction delivery requirements between package managers and multiple discipline site operations.
*Provide input for reporting to the Area Project Manager(s).

*Experience in Project Management on multi-discipline construction projects.
*Preferably, experience in the successful delivery of multi-discipline operations within a Nuclear-licensed environment.
