About the Role

You’ll be part of our clients ATEX and Electrical Services Teams, working primarily within the water industry, with opportunities in energy and manufacturing. As part of our MEICA division (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation), you’ll carry out electrical installations and maintenance in hazardous areas, ensuring compliance with BS7671:18th Edition and BS60079 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver electrical installations and maintenance in ATEX zones
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers and technicians
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Experience working in hazardous areas and ATEX zones
Knowledge of Ex protection concepts (Ex d, Ex e, Ex i)
CompEx Ex01–Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
NVQ Level 3 (Electrical Installation or Maintenance)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing

Industrial experience

Desirable:

CompEx Ex05–Ex06 (Dust)
PASMA, IPAF, IOSH, CCNSG certifications
