Commercial Controller
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000
Location: Hull

About Our Client:

Our client, a reputable company in the modular industry, is seeking a Commercial Controller to join their dynamic Rental Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage contracts end-to-end and provide commercial control for rental department contracts.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Preparing and issuing regular account development reviews to clients
- Managing financial aspects and outcomes of 60+ projects
- Updating project management systems with revenue and costs
- Generating project reports and applications for payment
- Liaising with managers and clients to review project progress and resolve issues
- Managing variation processes with contractors, clients, and customers
- Reviewing pricing documents and contracts (including JCT and NEC)
- Overseeing cash collection and retention recovery processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of drawings and building design
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in commercial contract review
- Financial project management expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Intermediate/Advanced level
- GCSE Maths and English at Level 4/C or above
- Commercial experience with industry knowledge and/or Quantity Surveying experience
