NEW ROLE - Commercial Assistant – Cumbria – Housing Developer – New Build housing projects - Rate £13.00 - £16.00 per hour - 07980 006 436

Client
My client, an award winning, national house builder are looking for a Commercial Assistant to be based from Penrith.

Role
To assist the Regional Quantity Surveyors to ensure that all sub-contractor accounts are maintained and up to date
Full or Part time hours
Initially 3 Months with a chance of extension.

Duties
Specific duties outlined below: -
Supply chain enquires & returns, analysis, orders
Inputting/updating orders on Coins
Inputting labour only onto master spreadsheet
Cost to complete back up to valuations
Customer care extras – measure, quotes, orders
Mark up drawings with Roads and Sewers/Groundworks/External works progress
Administer contra – charges
Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure that sub-contractor payment procedures are always adhered to and that all agreed terms are met.
Assist the Finance Department with the efficient operation of sub-contractor preferential payment terms.
Resolution of all invoices, to include communication with other staff and external sub-contractors as required.
Requesting, chasing, and maintaining sub-contractor pre-qualification information.

Candidate
Knowledge and experience of house building industry would be an advantage
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent IT skills, especially Excel
Knowledge of Coins system
Experience of working within a busy office environment
