Are you a Clerk of Works or an experienced Site Manager looking at opportunities such as this? Do you have great attention to detail, excellent snagging, health & safety and compliance skills in Construction? Anderselite are recruiting for a Clerk of Works on behalf of our consultancy based client.

We work with closely with our client, who typically employ Clerk of Works for construction inspection services throughout London and home counties. This role is classed outside of IR35 and can be paid through the candidates LTD company, where applicable.

This requirement will involve checking and recording removal of cladding. The contractor you will work alongside has system set up for recording with tablet.

Duties include:

• Inspecting construction work and comparing it with drawings and specifications
• Measuring and quality checking building materials
• Identifying defects and suggesting ways to correct them
• Monitoring progress and reporting to construction managers, architects, and clients
• Keeping detailed records of work
• Referring to plans and taking photographs of work, along with measurements and samples
• Liaising with contractors, engineers, and surveyors
• Checking that building regulations, health and safety, legal and ecological requirements are met
• Working between an office and construction sites

The ideal candidate would have:

• Previous experience as Site Manager or Project Manager
• Good IT and reporting skills, including attention to detail
• Excellent Health and Safety standards
• Need to be good with IT and able to work unsupervised
