Anderselite - Road Sweeper

Anderselite are recruiting for a road sweeper for an immediate start Based in Redditch.

this a 12 week placement with the chance to go permanent for the right worker.

Duties Include:

To carry out cleansing operations work as directed, using plant and equipment for which you hold appropriate licence in a safe and responsible manner and in compliance with the Company’s and the Client’s safety procedures

· To carry out cleansing operations duties as assigned by your manager e.g. street cleansing

· To carry out jet washing of public pathways as directed

· To carry out dust suppression works as and when required

· To carry out gully clearance duties as directed.

· To provide details of engine hours worked information for each item of plant

· To maintain the cab of any vehicle used in a clean and tidy condition

· Act as an ambassador for the Company at all times, being courteous to Clients and other road users

· To notify the Company of any incidents that may impact on the status of your driving licence

· To drive other company vehicles as and when requested.

· Any other duties as may reasonably be requested from time to time.

Person Specification

· Fully aware and compliant with the safe operation (and where appropriate, the maintenance requirements) of the plant used in the role.

· Holds valid and appropriate driving licence for the plant used in the role

· Aware of the appropriate safety procedures and attentive to risk at all times

· Ability to check machinery

. Be able to drive a left hand drive vehicle.

· A team player who looks out for the members of the team as well as themselves

· Polite, customer focused and the desire to do a good job

· Required licence or certification: Class 2 Licence
