Are you a Project Manager, with experience on working on Civils & Infrastructure projects? Here at Anderselite, we are recruiting on behalf of a reputable Tier 1 main contractor who are a renowned and established business across the UK.

Our client have asked us to identify a Civils Project Manager who is driven, commercially aware and can push projects forward, but at the same time maintain high levels of professionalism and be client-facing. This role will focus on Drainage & Earthworks, as part of a large Civils project where Water Treatment and Soil Remediation is required.

Duties include:

• Managing programme and ensuring dates are achieved for individual plots and sites as a whole.
• Programme and schedule works in liaison with the Operations Director.
• Ensure Site Agent and Works Manager have a proper understanding of the programme dates and are managed to maintain the construction programme.
• Liaise with Statutory Authorities to ensure all inspections are completed and all service connections completed in accordance with the construction programme.
• Ensure that all works are completed to the highest standard of quality and to company requirements.
• Assess the quality of work at all stages of construction and ensure that all sub-contractors and suppliers are capable of achieving the required / specified standards.
• Ensure that all building operations are carried out in a safe manner and with all relevant regulations.
• Ensure that a Health and Safety Checklist has been agreed before site commences and action accordingly.
• Ensure site presentation is maintained to a high standard in order to maximise sales potential.
• Ensure that sites operate efficiently and costs that are affected by project management are contained within budget.

The successful candidate will have:

• Solid track record of successful delivery within a project delivery role.
• Ideally degree qualified in a relevant discipline and/or Chartership of relevant professional organisation e.g. MICE, MRICS, MCIOB.
• Experience of managing a project from Groundworks to Completion.
• Previously worked on Civils & Infrastructure projects.
• Large / major project experience c10m+ managing big teams.
• Be proactive and flexible and have excellent communication skills.
• Able to lead a team to achieve common goals.
