Vacancy - Senior Civil Engineer

Location - Birmingham

Anderselite are working with one of the leading consultancies in the UK that are looking to take on an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to work on their wide array of infrastructure projects.

Our client support a hybrid/ remote working environment which will allow you to work from home.


Key Responsibilities

The role will include the following responsibilities:
• Design of projects from the concept stage through to the construction stage
• Understanding of Health and Safety principles and their application to design and construction
• Management and development of team members
• Developing good relationships within the design team
• Development of client relationships
• Assisting directors in seeking out and securing new opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

• Drainage schemes associated with buildings, highways, public realm and landscape projects
• Highway and pavement design, associated with building and landscape projects
• Liaising with Local Authorities and working on sections 38, 278, 104 and 106 agreements
• Civil engineering construction principles and standards
• Practical knowledge of design software
• Design standards and legislation
