Our client are recruiting a BIM Manager (all levels considered) to join their award-winning Digital Engineering team and deliver some of the UK’s most exciting construction projects. They are working with high-profile clients in sectors ranging from defence, manufacturing, healthcare, residential, cultural, education, and motorsport (Formula 1) with construction values anywhere from £5M to more than £500M. The team provide a range of services in the BIM and digital engineering space both direct to client organisations, external Consultant teams, Contractors, as well as their own multi-disciplinary projects. Location is flexible as they operate an agile working policy but will prioritise candidates within reasonable proximity of any our UK offices, particularly Bristol, Birmingham or London.

Typical roles and services include Information Management, BIM Coordination, as well as their award-winning Model Firestopping Review service. The Digital Engineering team also play a key part in administering standards, making new technology recommendations, and contributing to pioneering pilot projects such as their Digital Twin, Building Safety Digitalisation, or Digital FM programmes. Working alongside their Digital Engineers and multi-disciplinary consultant teams of 700+ employees across 13 UK offices, you will have access to the full spectrum of building consultancy professionals and specialist services which allow them to collaborate and develop innovative new service streams. You will be keen to specialise in digitalisation of the industry and adoption of process technologies underpinned by BIM and will play a key part in the continued growth of this service with occasional travel across the UK for meetings or industry events.

• Carry out BIM Manager activities (using Solibri / Navisworks & BIM Track) and lead BIM coordination workshops

• Project-team facing role, leading workshops and monitoring activities of others
• Understanding of structured information model schemas

Experience using a variety of software for a variety of applications such as

– BIM authoring (eg. Revit)
– BIM co-ordination / data collation (eg. Solibri)
– Reporting (eg. Power BI)
– Cloud Database (eg. AirTable)
– Collaboration (eg. BIM Track)
– Common Data Environment (eg. Asite)
– Communication (eg. Webex / Zoom / Teams)

Qualifications & Experience:
• Must have some industry experience in a relevant position (all levels considered)
• Bachelors / Masters / other qualifications in either built environment / BIM / data science or change management is desirable, but not essential
