About the Role

We are seeking a BIM Information Manager to strengthen our client's Delivery team for their ESD Framework. Based in Scotland, the role involves managing the contractual BIM delivery requirements for SR21 projects. The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and maintain contracted deliverables, focusing primarily on Project BEPs and MIDPs as per ISO 19650.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of required information and documentation in accordance with BEP and ISO 19650.
  • Establish project processes for delivering spatially coordinated volumes that mature into detailed design elements.
  • Assist in developing supply chain partners through assessment, selection, training, and upskilling.
  • Collaborate to establish and support a Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Engage with clients and suppliers to identify and challenge their Information Management requirements.
  • Ensure effective data exchange with all project stakeholders.
  • Provide Information Management support to all Project Team members.
  • Promote best practices in information management within projects.

Skills/Experience

  • Experience in Information Management for large-scale projects or frameworks.
  • Familiarity with document management systems like ProjectWise, BIM360, Viewpoint (4Projects), Aconex, or similar.
  • Knowledge of implementing systems and procedures to support BIM and Information Management.
  • Understanding of BIM according to ISO 19650 and related standards.
  • Familiarity with legal and contractual aspects of information management in construction.
  • Experience in engineering design, delivery, and construction within infrastructure sectors, preferably Water or Utilities.
