Overview:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a highly regarded landscape architecture and urban design team on a contract basis. This role will play a crucial part in driving and managing BIM processes across a range of UK and international projects - ensuring design quality, technical excellence, and efficient delivery.
Working within a collaborative, design-led studio environment, this position offers a great balance of creativity and technical responsibility, with the flexibility of a hybrid setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate, and deliver project-specific BIM data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards.
- Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting across Revit, ACC/BIM360, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, and SketchUp.
- Mentor and train team members on BIM best practices, workflows, and emerging digital tools.
- Implement and maintain BIM standards and workflows in alignment with ISO 19650.
- Develop and manage detailed Revit models for landscape and urban design projects.
- Conduct clash detection and coordinate resolution of design conflicts across disciplines.
- Produce 3D visualizations and supporting materials for design development and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and clients to ensure seamless BIM integration.
- Contribute to the preparation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP), and other project documentation.
- Support sustainable design integration within BIM processes.
- Keep up to date with the latest BIM technologies and proactively enhance workflows and project delivery methods.
About You:
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Technician, ideally within landscape architecture, masterplanning, or urban design.
- Track record of delivering medium to large-scale projects using BIM methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Rhinoceros familiarity with GIS, site analysis tools, or AI-based design platforms is a plus.
- Sound understanding of BIM standards and protocols (ISO 19650 preferred).
- Experience with visualization tools such as Lumion and/or Twinmotion.
- Good understanding of sustainable design principles and their integration within BIM workflows.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with multiple disciplines.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- BIM and/or Revit certifications advantageous.
- Knowledge of Dynamo, Grasshopper, and scripting is desirable.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.

- Contract Type: Fixed-term contract or hourly rate (inside IR35)
- Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in Leeds
