Anderselite is currently seeking a Fire Engineer for a global engineering consultancy to join their Building Design Practice. The role will involve delivering fire engineering design solutions in sectors such as Cities, Commercial/Residential Development, Transportation and Energy.
The role will involve Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Strategies, Fire Evacuation Plans, Fire Management Audits as well as
• Supporting and submitting applications for Planning and Building Control Consents
• Carry out surveys within projects and conduct inspections of fire safety installations
• Support and provide guidance to the fire engineers team to improve technical development within fire policies
• Acquainted with the legal framework and ensuring policies are updated in line with policies
• Produce reports on Fire risks and provide /preventive remedial action

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in budgeting and costing
• Background in fire safety work
• 3 years + experience in fire engineering environment
• Experience in the completion of Fire Risk assessments
• Knowledgeable within the fire compartmentation and fire preventing
• Demonstrated experience within Fire Safety work
• Fire modelling experience preferred
• Flexibility in working environments
