Anderselite are currently partnered with a leading Contractor, seeking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team, to assist with new starts up projects. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is looking to jumpstart their career as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you role will be crucial within the pre- contract management, procurement, cost control, and overall project administration processes.

Some of the key responsibilities will entail :
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of pre-contract management and project commercial start-up procedures.
• Efficiently procure materials and off-site services in accordance with best practices, legal requirements
• Assist in preparing valuations, submitting invoices, and ensuring timely receipt of payment
• Contribute to monitoring and managing subcontract costs.
• Contribute to the production of accurate and timely Cost-Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports and forecasts.
• Support the preparation of contractual notices accurately and on time.
• Contribute to the project closeout process and archiving.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
