My client is a fast-growing modular build company based in Cheshire, they are working on various projects within the healthcare sector and the NHS framework, with projects ranging from £5Million to £15Million, a leading force in the offsite modular building industry.

They are looking for an Assistant QS to assist in looking after one of their modular building sites. They are a national contractor .This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in projects centring around modular build within the health sector. They have recently successfully won a number of projects in the modular build sector. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious company. Duties
• Subcontract management including procurement
• CVRs
• Valuations
• Variations
• Placing Subcontract orders
• Dealing with payment enquiries
• Price analysis
• Measurements
• Take offs
• Price analysis

The candidate
All applicants must be studying a relevant degree (on a day release)
All applicants must be able to complete / have experience in all duties
Must have at least 12 months experience as a trainee Quantity Surveyor (minimum)
House building or residential experience
A minimum of 1 years’ worth of work experience (on site and in the office) ESSENTIAL
Build experience ideally main contracting

Required qualifications
A relevant degree in BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
HNC / HND is essential or a similar in a commercial related course is essential.
Ideally a CSCS card

£20,000 - £33,000
