Anderselite are recruiting for an Assistant Project Engineer to work for a specialist piling and ground engineering contractor in central London on a freelance basis.

Location: Liverpool Street
Role: Assistant Project Engineer
Rate: £267 PAYE + Holiday pay (inside IR35)
£300 LTD (outside IR35)

Start: ASAP to 22.12.23

Key Accountabilities
• You will be based on site and work alongside our piling crews and report to the Project Engineers.
• Responsible for the implementation of the company quality control procedures.
• To be able to provide a technical opinion on the most common foundation techniques.

Working Environment
Our Assistant Project Engineers will be site based in London, although due to operational requirements may be required to work nationally. They are a key member of the site team and will be expected to work site hours. The key relationships will be with our site team as well as liaising with commercial, procurement and the supply chain on a daily basis.

Person Specification
Qualifications
• You should be able to demonstrate a desire to work in the construction industry and ideally possess a qualification in geology, Civil Engineering, construction management or equivalent to HNC/HND or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience
• They will have experience of working within a construction or building environment.
• Understanding of engineering principles.
• Knowledge and understanding of different construction techniques.
• Good problem solving skills.
