Assistant planner required by a North West Contractor. This role is ideal if you’re working in the construction sector and want to train as a planner. Due to increased work wins in the residential sector we are looking for an Assistant Planner to join an expanding construction team and help develop their planning expertise. This role is based out of Manchester.
The Role
You will:
Assist in the updating of programmes, produce layouts and gather data
Analyse and evaluate construction methods, techniques and logistics required for tenders
Present detailed explanation of programme and methodology
Analyse and prepare project progress positions and forecast project completions
Identify project risks and opportunities
Assist in the preparation of entitlement submissions
Have a good understanding of health and safety in relation to planning
The successful candidate will Ideally you will have all of some of below:
1 to 2 years construction experience in an assistant site manager or PM role
Have some experience project planning
Experience in iu se Asta or P6
Want to develop planning career
