Assistant Electrician (Improver) - Droitwich, Worcs - Permanent - circa £25,000+ plus company benefits
AndersElite require permanent Electrical Assistants (Improvers) for an established building services company based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.
Due to an increase in workload, there are several positions available from August-September 2021 onwards for the selected candidates.
The work location is set in a large industrial unit in Droitwich, Worcestershire, specialising in manufacturing off site building services solutions to be used in large construction projects.
Applicants should have experience of electrical installations within an industrial setting, either site work or factory work. Typical duties will be to assist Electricians with 1st fix trunking and containment on off site modular systems.
In order to apply, you should have some relevant electrical experience, plus ideally an ECS or CSCS card.
Payment is based on an hourly rate as per current Jib Shop Employed regulations rate, £12.46 per hour. It would be expected that before any overtime is considered, basic yearly earnings would be circa £25,000. Overtime is payable after 38 hours worked during the week at time and a half, with any Sunday worked being paid at double time.
In addition, you will receive a company pension, holiday allowance, sick pay allowance and any electrical training courses required to further your technical development.
It is anticipated the right candidates will have a desire to upskill themselves withing the electrical trade with provision for NVQ level courses and training schemes, ultimately becoming a fully qualified Electrician.
The working week will be minimum 38hrs, generally 7.30 - 16.00 Monday to Friday but overtime hours will be available during busier periods which is very regular, allowing employees to supplement their usual earnings.
