Role: Finance / Assistant Assistant

Location: Manchester City Centre

Reporting to: Company Accountant

As they continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join their team and contribute to their financial operations.

Responsibilities:

As a Finance Assistant in this dynamic architectural practice, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Sales Invoice Production: Create and distribute sales invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner.
• Project Liaison: Collaborate with project leaders on all ongoing projects to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
• Fee Forecast: Maintain and update the fee forecast on a daily basis to support effective financial planning.
• Purchase Orders: Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Purchase Invoice Processing: Handle the processing of purchase invoices efficiently and accurately.
• Company Credit Card: Manage company credit card transactions and reconciliations.
• Accounts Queries: Address incoming accounts queries from clients and internal teams, providing prompt and effective resolutions.
• Cashflow Forecasting: Assist with cashflow forecasting to ensure optimal financial management.
• Month-End Process: Support the month-end financial closing process.
• Monthly Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial management accounts.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified
• Strong numeracy skills and high attention to detail
• Effective communication skills at all levels
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage
