As they continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant / Finance Assistant to join their team and contribute to their financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Generate invoices, aligning them with contract values distributed over specific timeframes.
- Maintain regular communication with project leaders to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Manage invoicing processes, emphasising precision and attention to detail.
- Receive and utilise available support resources as needed.
- Actively engage in debt collection activities.
- Process monthly supplier payments and reconcile bank transactions.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to support financial stability.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Administer salary-related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in a similar role.
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Strong numeracy skills and high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, adept at interacting at all levels.
- Cooperative nature.
- Proficiency in Excel and Sage.
- Ambitious with desire for career advancement.
