Responsibilities:
To review and maintain the housing portfolio & standard details as well as understanding and input into any legislative changes that may affect their homes.
The role will be working alongside external consultants, building control bodies and suppliers to ensure delivery of specialist design in line with standards and values.
Liaison with, and support of, other departments (including site-based staff) in providing technical information and assisting with technical issues relating to regulations of the product.
Visit sites to assess our product and identify improvements/feedback on construction/technical/sales/H&S issues.
Working with our sustainability team you will look at MMC and provide information on measures that may reduce our carbon footprint through design.
Keep up to date with any future changes in Building Regulations that may impact the company/product and attend CPD events. Proactively research for information to fully understand internal and external customer needs.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Passion for Architectural technology & sustainability
HNC/HND or Architectural related degree essential
Exceptional administrative and organisational skills
Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Architecture & REVIT would be beneficial.
Capable of presenting designs to both non-technical and technical colleagues
Assertive self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
A good understanding of building regulations knowledge.
Ability to prioritise a busy workload, to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willing to take on new responsibilities.
Excellent planning and organising skills.
