Due to an expanding order book we have an opening for the position of an Architectural Technician to join the team within either our Planning or Technical Departments. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, with ambition to progress within the consultancy into a more senior project leading role.
The candidate will liaise directly with Project Managers to assist in the preparation of information required for the submission of Planning Applications or Technical Working drawings packages.

Duties will involve:
- Preparing planning house types (floor plans & elevations).
- Preparing Planning Layouts (including templates, design of road layout and landscaping).
- Preparing Street Scenes.
- Prepare presentation material (Coloured layouts, 3D perspective views).
• Assist in the preparation of drawings required for technical working drawing packages.
Duties will involve:
- Preparing working drawings for house types & flats (floor setting out plans, floor layouts,
elevations, sections, joist layouts, roof plan, details).
- Preparing External Works Layouts (including templates, design of road layout, boundary
treatments.
- Review information provided by external consultants and suppliers and inserting into working
drawings as required.
