One of my clients is looking for an Architectural Technician to join their team based in West Yorkshire.
The client is a well-established specialist in residential and commercial construction. They are working on an extensive and diverse mix of project developments within Real Estate, design and build, residential new builds, commercial fit out and refurbishments.
Responsibilities
• Assisting in the design and development of projects from the feasibility stage through to completion
• Preparing technical and detailed drawings
• Attending internal and site-based project meetings
• Undertaking full building regulations submissions
• Reporting project progress to Directors and Managers
• Planning own workload and tasks
Requirements
• HNC/HND qualification in Construction and the Built Environment (or equivalent).
• 10 years + experience
• Revit proficient
• AutoCAD proficient
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations
• Excellent technical competency and detailing ability
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the residential / house builder sector
• Experience on projects involving Listed Buildings welcome but not essential
• Be able to work well both individually and within a team
• Be willing to acquire new skills
• Have great interpersonal skills and experience as direct client liaison
• Have great communication and presentation skills
• The ability to deal with multiple projects at varying stages and complexities
• Driving license (travel for site visits and any associated meetings)
