Due to the recent growth , we have an exciting opportunity for talented Architectural Assistant Part II or Architect to join our team. The team forms part of an established design office/ studio and continued to see development and expansion of our architectural work hence the reason for team growth. 

We have a developing reputation for delivering projects that are considered and refined, sustainable and functional, performance driven and responsive to user needs. Our projects include residential, housing, mixed use developments and private one-off commissions.

Role and Responsibilities

You will be working in the Architectural team assisting with job running as and when required/ You will also need to cooperate with other members of the design and planning team/ Ensure planning proposals conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards
Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines
Assistance with planning applications, government submissions and competition entries/ Site visits & contextual investigations
Strong planning and technical skills/ Detailed Planning applications experience / Design and Access statements experience 
Proficient in use of Revit
Good hand sketching skills and presentation experience 

Expererience in working with House Builders/with Developers would be a big bonus! 

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator who can articulate complicated issues between our clients and our highly skilled project teams. You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to learn whilst demonstrating a high level diligence and organisational skills.
