We are looking for a Senior/Principal Architect with strong project experience of Revit along with a history of producing design and technical drawings. Our varied and busy workload currently includes nuclear, power and energy projects, defence, water, ports, laboratories, transport, industrial and blue light services projects. Experience in these sectors required. Based either from Warrington or Central Manchester on a hybrid working arrangement.

We would like to hear from candidates with the following:

- ARB or RIBA qualified and recognised Architect
- Excellent technical knowledge and good working knowledge of UK building regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work alone, and as part of a team
- Knowledge and an understanding of BIM
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (preferably at least V2014) and competent in Revit
- Ability to obtain UK baseline security clearance (due to the nature of the projects)
- Relevant experience related fields: in industrial, highly regulated healthcare, education, offices, laboratories, residential, transport will also be considered

The following are the responsibilities of the role:

- Planning, designing and administering building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
- Consulting with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structures or renovations, and prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, colour, equipment, estimated costs and construction time
- Working on tender documentation and site stages
- Capable of working independently to deliver multiple projects
- Providing project management, liaising with architectural design team and client representatives as required
- Drafting and issuing architectural drawings and specifications
- Preparing and presenting technical design proposals using REVIT, AutoCAD, Navisworks and traditional methods
- Working on the detailed design process and co-ordinating detailed design information
- Preparing drawings, plans and documents for statutory approvals
