My clients are looking to appoint an Aftersales Manager on a permanent basis. This is a new role for my client having completed a number of sites during the year. The successful candidate will take ownership and coordinate their after-sales programme.

This includes liaising with subcontractors and customers at multiple sites to ensure that defects and snagging lists are addressed within their KPIs. Quality assurance and assistance to site managers when plots are nearing completion. The role also includes handling and managing of any NHBC resolutions that arise.

The role will be split between head office and sites as required, with the person employed becoming

the face of the business to customers after they have moved in.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:-

  • Coordination of outstanding companywide aftersales items once sites are nearing conclusion via online system and site visits
  • Arranging Sub Contractors to address aftersales matters
  • Working closely with office aftersales coordinators and site project managers
  • Liaising with sales negotiators
  • Visiting customers to understand any snagging concerns and to pick up positive reviews
  • Attending and managing NHBC resolutions
  • Health & Safety general control and security
  • Compliance with RAMS and H&S policy
  • Snagging, quality control and compliance with NHBC, specification and drawings
  • Home Tours and Key Handover
  • QA sign off coordination where required
  • As built recording including photos, robust standard details, checking of drainage and levels
  • Ad hoc general assistance to site manager with site permits, daily and weekly inspections;
  • Inductions and labour control; plant and material returns; Presentation and housekeeping

onsite; Short-term programming;

Control of waste / cartaway to licenced tips

  • NHBC inspections and compliance

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience of working as an Assistant Site Manager / Aftersales Manager within a residential setting.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Works collaboratively with a diverse range of people
  • Good administration skills
  • Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient IT skills.
