To provide clear, accurate and timely permit applications for maintenance work requirements within Birmingham City Council as required using Confirm ensuring compliance with the Traffic Management Act 2004
Your responsibilities:
•To liaise with both the Planning and Operational elements of the business.
•To ensure permits are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
•To support the Senior Administrator by supplying data for reports.
•To maintain accurate records.
•To liaise with BCC colleagues.
•To close down permits as works are completed.
•To log and record any ghost Fixed Penalty Notices
What are we looking for?
•Desirable -knowledge of relevant legislations, such as
oCodes of Practice Appropriate legislative
oNRSWA Codes of Practice
oSafety at Street Works
oTraffic Management Act 2004
•Relevant processes and procedures
•IT Literate
•Knowledge of the network
•Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
•Able to manage stakeholders at all levels
•Self-Motivated
•Able to work alone and prioritise workload
•Able to work under pressure
•Liaison with colleagues, Birmingham City Council Traffic Management Officers and contractors
