Accounts Manager
London
WFH role but will be require to travel to offices/ sites.

£35K-£45K + package

Role Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing a customer portfolio, focusing on new business and account management. This role involves identifying opportunities for innovation and investment to support company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales: The Account Manager is expected to achieve growth in all areas of BCS Group and ensure sales targets are monitored and achieved. Managing key customer accounts and building lasting relationships is a crucial part of this role. Additionally, developing relationships with suppliers and staying updated on industry products and innovations is essential.

Business Development: Collaboration with the Sales Manager on PQQs, tenders, and major projects is required to benefit the business. Targeting the right customers through offers, promotions, and marketing efforts is vital. Identifying relevant mailshots and exhibitions to attend is also part of the role. Gathering and sharing customer feedback is essential for improving business efficiency and maintaining high customer service standards. Monitoring competition from a sales perspective is another responsibility.

Customer Relationship Management: The Account Manager is responsible for managing all customer activity through the CRM system, maintaining relevant data and a pipeline of opportunities. Participation in networking events and exhibitions is encouraged. Addressing customer complaints in a timely and professional manner is crucial, involving collaboration with various departments and managers.

Reports & Administration: Completing a monthly winning works summary and sharing significant achievements on relevant platforms are part of the role. Timely completion of administrative tasks is essential for efficient operations.

Key Measures & Targets:
Key performance indicators include achieving sales targets, acquiring new business, retaining customers, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Person Specification:
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

In-depth knowledge and experience in sales.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective time management and planning abilities.
Prioritization skills to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in IT, CRM, and design software.

Experience in the construction, distribution, or hire industry.
