Horsham
Salary from £25,000 to £35,000 - depending on experience

Exciting new job opportunity just in for an Accounts Manager to join an industry recognised Construction Company on a permanent basis in their head office in Horsham. We are looking for someone ambitious, talented, and motivated with a flexible approach to work.

You will be responsible for providing support to the Group Financial Director on various projects by processing and distributing financial and commercial information. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to join a reputable organisation to contribute towards your professional growth and development.

This position would suit someone who is AAT qualified or studying ACCA/CIMA. We are ideally looking for someone with experience in a construction company with knowledge of CIS/VAT rules, purchase ledger and subcontract ledger, bank reconciliations, contract costing and reporting.

What we need from you –

  • AAT qualified or studying ACCA/CIMA
  • Ability to anticipate problems and ensure early intervention
  • Analytical and logical approach to problem solving
  • A good level of competency of Microsoft packages
  • Ability to work with ordering and costing systems
  • Desire to understand and promote the Company purpose, vision, values and culture
  • Trustworthy and ethical approach, exercising discretion where required
  • Organised, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence
  • Flexibility, resilience and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • A high level of diplomacy and customer focused
  • Experience in a fast paced, national and multi-site business
  • Self motivated who has the ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines
