Workshop Administrator
Oxon, Oxford
Contract - £10 per hour


Great new opportunity to join a leading main contractor within the Construction industry. They have a requirement for an Administrator to join them at their Drayton Highways Depot in Oxford.

The successful candidate will report in to the Transport Manager who has overall responsibility for the delivery of vehicle maintenance & compliance within the clients Oxfordshire Highways contract. The Workshop Administrator will have responsibility for ensuring all scheduled and reactive vehicle maintenance work has been allocated on a daily basis, through the workshop management system. You may be required at times to work from any other depot or facility.

Key Responsibilities:

The Workshop Administrator will be expected to demonstrate all scheduled maintenance activities due on Key Two have been identified by producing a monthly schedule, sending it out to all users by 15th of each month in line with current management process.

The Workshop Administrator will be required to demonstrate experience in prioritising daily workload to ensure all scheduled, and reactive vehicle maintenance work has been allocated to Mobile Fitters or 3rd party supply chain partners, and all work is completed on time and in line with the service level agreement in order to deliver value for money and reduce vehicle downtime for the client and its customers.

The Workshop Administrator will be expected to demonstrate all vehicle maintenance jobs have been opened and allocated on the fleet management system and closed down accurately with labour, parts, consumables and compliance paperwork as per the relevant service level agreement and invoiced in line with current procedure.

Candidate Specification:

You must be able to demonstrate what qualifications, experience, competency and knowledge of the DVSA's Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness, Operator licence compliance and working within the Highways industry as a minimum

You must be able to demonstrate your experience, competency and knowledge of working in a fleet and maintenance environment as a minimum

You must be able to demonstrate your IT qualifications, experience and working knowledge of (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Fleet Management Systems).

You must be able to demonstrate you have excellent key board skills and accuracy when imputing date as a minimum.
