Exciting new job opportunity just in for an Administrator / Trainee Document Controller to join an industry recognised Civil Engineering Consultancy on a potential temporary to permanent basis. We are looking for someone ambitious, talented, and motivated with a flexible approach to work.
You will be responsible for providing support to the Information & Systems Manager on various projects by working a as part of the document control team to support all administration needs whilst undertaking document control training. You will then have the option to develop the role into a full time DC as work increases within the region. This position would suit a strong administrator in a similar industry with some document control knowledge/experience. We are also in need of someone who is happy to be office-based Monday to Friday as the admin side of things includes archiving of physical files and being another point of contact in the office.
What we need from you –
- Assisting the project/site teams with setting up the site filing (hard copies etc).
- Point of contact for queries regarding administration for the IPT (Holiday forms, navigating Thames Region Connect page)
- Updating Annual leave tracker, training spreadsheet etc
- Supporting the Information & Systems Manager with administration tasks across the region as necessary, including, but not limited to:
- Health & safety Administration – Training records, ActiveSHEQ maintenance, Communications
- Pre-Con / Design Administration – Assisting with the set up and administration of projects within the Thames Team Space area
- Liaising with the Doc Controllers as projects “go live” – movement of documents from Pre con stage to Project/Design stage.
- Supporting the management of the office, including ID card requests, meeting room booking and managing the desk booking system, being a point of contact for visitors, deliveries etc
