We are currently working with a leading Facilities Service provider who are looking to recruit a technical Facilities Manager with a hard FM & electrical background to manage a large contract in the Oxford area

Summary of Role:
The role of the Technical Facilities Manager is to manage and maintain all hard and fabric services elements scheduled as Assets within the contract specification efficiently and within scope, whilst maintaining statutory compliance at all times. The specific details will vary depending on the nature of the Account and associated facilities, building services plant and ancillary assets including fabric being managed and maintained in line with the contractual agreement with their customer.

The successful person will have a formal technical qualification and able to manage a small team of engineers and assist with the technical aspects of project and minor works delivery.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Establishment/Management/Administration of working processes, planned and reactive maintenance regimes, including extra to contract works. This includes Managing project work in accordance with CDM and company procedures. Auditing of works and associated certification to be incorporated. Management of health and safety and welfare of the team is of primary importance with detailed knowledge of all statutory and best practice requirements. The candidate will have a successful broad experience within the industry, demonstrating sound operational, procurement, and commercial knowledge with experience of managing stringent Service Level Agreements whilst supporting all stake holder needs are all key parts of the role.
Reporting to the Account Manager, the role will involve prioritising and coordinating internal functions/operatives with those of the supply chain in order that effectively meets its contractual obligations to the Customer. The candidate should have sound technical capabilities supported by appropriate technical qualifications and experience in operating and maintaining all types of Hard Services assets and systems as well as PC operating skills and experience of Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.

CSCS: CSCS desired
Qualifications: Some form of Technical Qualification HNC/HND/Degree or similar required, 17th Edition or better
Professional Membership: Some form of Technical Qualification/ professional membership. CIBSE/BIFM/Engineering council or similar
Relevant Experience: At least 3 years in a similar position; Knowledge of Electrical systems in a facilities management environment.
