Job description

  • Noticing - for All schemes arising from Design office & Major Projects and Cover for Depots (due to absence)
  • Input new notices onto system & update as require. Chase overdue actions. Ensure closed or amended at appropriate time.
  • Ceck starts and stops with CT
  • Apply for Early starts extensions as required
  • Liaise with NRWSA team
  • Advise on best course of action where end user is unsure.
  • Review month end data for OPIs from OCC
  • Investigate OPI failure and report to S Bowen
  • Ensure noticing spread sheet is kept up to date
  • EHS inspections
  • Input inspections from construction team onto BIM 360 & generate any actions report and send to relevant person for action.
  • Monitor construction teams target and highlight shortfalls (nag until done)
  • Challenge wrong data on monthly report from Skanska
    • SHEQ Sheets from Construction team
  • Send out blank data sheet, ensure it is received in a timely fashion, collate monthly data, produce report and send to EHS advisor
    • Waste
  • Issue waste ticket numbers to site agents for hazardous waste and produce tickets (for large jobs where hand writing is inefficient)
  • Receive waste sheets from all jobs for the construction team
  • Input data onto spreadsheet - ensuring it is all compliant (chase discrepancies)
  • Follow up on missing sheets / data
  • Keep Tar bound tracker up to date for tar bound planings
  • Upload monthly data into Skanska online waste management system
  • Scan & file (paper and electronic) waste notes
  • Produce end of scheme waste reports for the PL to input into SWMP
    • Traffic Light permits - for construction team
    • TTRO requests - for construction team
    • Pre start Communications - letter-drops etc.
  • Produce list of affected properties for a scheme from Spectrum (for letter drops and Feedback cards)
  • Produce (or assist with) letter to above
  • Mail merge from address list and either print for hand delivery or send as word file to CH for printing and posting

  • Surface treatment website - Maintain and update website on intranet and public site (with and of OCC communications team)
  • Public enquiries - take incoming enquiries from public and customer service centre, either deal with or send to appropriate person. Ensure they are followed up in a timely fashion.
  • Training record - keep teams record up to date and liaise with L&D as required
  • Team meetings
  • Arrange monthly meeting
  • Circulate agenda
  • Take notes, produce & circulate action list
  • Ensure cake rota is adhered to :-)
  • Pre-start meetings - attend as required to provide noticing, communications etc. help and advice
  • Winter salting records (Oct - March) - record run date in spreadsheet
  • Safety Alert sign off sheets and TBTs. Circulate and collate sign off sheets - include in SHEQ return
  • Short Horizon Programme maintenance
  • Update sheet
  • Highlights areas where action is needed
  • Attend review meetings
