Our client, a leading provider of highways term maintenance services nationwide, is currently recruiting for a Highways Site Supervisor to join their Birmingham based teams on a permanent contract basis.

Summary:

As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervision of an programme of works within the highways maintenance team, ensuring projects are developed and delivered on time.

Duties and responsibilities:

To work with team members to deliver capital funded maintenance and improvement projects at the required quality and to budget, together with delivery of the communication and consultation requirements of the scheme.
To coordinate and integrate resources to deliver a project or programme, utilising internal staff, shareholder resources, external consultants and contractors as required.
Liaison with client, stakeholders and third parties, where necessary.
Liaise with other team members associated with the allocated schemes.
Ensure the design complies with the specification and agreed programme.
Provide guidance and assistance to junior members of the team.
Maintain accurate records on all allocated projects.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and CDM requirements.
