Team Leader required for Facilities Maintenance contract based in Central Swindon:

We are looking for:
Previous manager experience as you will line manage 25 employees (security officers & cleaners).
Security License is essential and CCTV license would be an advantage
Experience with COSH
Previous experience of rota management and staffing

Job role and responsibilities include:

Responsible for the overall delivery of Soft Services (cleaning, security) the extent of which is as dictated by the site Assignment Instructions and Cleaning Specification, with specific responsibilities including:

• To deliver exceptional standards of customer service to the client organisation and their customers, and to communicate clearly to stakeholders

• To supervise and lead both security and cleaning staff undertaking the site operational processes with the aim of achieving the effective delivery of both services.

• To be proactive in identifying opportunities for the personal and professional development of all staff and your own professional development and to participate in professional training.

• Supervise the delivery of services within the fsacility monitor key elements of the service including the monitoring and reporting of service level agreements and key performance indicators internal and external.

• Monitor the condition of site owned equipment required to deliver the services and constantly ensure that fully functional equipment and levels of materials and consumables are available to use by staff at all times.

• Providing a continuous improvement review and development of initiatives to improve services to achieve optimum performance and full customer engagement.

• Responsible for the day to day discipline of the staff employed on site reporting any failure of service or standards of work to the Operations Manager to act upon as required in line with company disciplinary process.

• Responsible for the full undertaking of the shift rotas and to ensure that the correct staffing levels are present on site as agreed within the annual budget, noting any hours not undertaken and maintaining a running log of these hours.

Maintain relationship with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and other issuers of statutory requirements

• The Site Services Team Leader is to pay attention to all timesheets ensuring that the consolidated payroll data is correct and is summited the Payroll department according to current processes and procedures.

• Interpret security laws, occupational safety legislation regulations, and contract requirements develop and implement site security procedures, coordinate security operations and overseeing and providing direction for security related projects and physical security technologies including but not limited to access systems, alarm systems, CCTV surveillance systems.

• Responsible for the performance management of all services for which the company are responsible (either contracted or self-delivered) and to undertake formal audit inspections of all services in all areas of responsibility and provide performance data and information as required for input to the monthly operational performance reporting and KPI reports.

• Assist the Operations Manager to conduct periodic reviews and appraisals on all staff using the correct HR templates, submitting the completed reports to HR.

• Performing health and safety monitoring and the completion of all risk assessments, workplace assessments, and operational and disaster recovery procedures
