Number 1 Site Manager required for 12 month contract to build 200,000 sq ft Industrial Unit with Small Office Facility Attached

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Number 1 Site Manager to oversee the construction of a 200,000 sq ft industrial unit with a small office facility attached. The successful candidate will have recent and significant experience in managing large-scale industrial projects and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the construction of the industrial unit and office facility, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Manage the project budget and schedule, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
Ensure that all subcontractors and suppliers are working efficiently and effectively, meeting project requirements and deadlines.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Oversee the external works programme, ensuring that all site infrastructure is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in site management, with significant experience in managing large-scale industrial projects.
A strong understanding of construction processes and techniques, as well as experience in managing complex projects.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
A proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
A relevant qualification in construction management or a related field would be advantageous.

Minimum requirements are CITB SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS qualifications.
