Site Engineer required for new large Industrial unit/Regional Distribution Centre build in St. Helens.

As site based engineer, you will be on site from day one, working for the main contractor on the £40 million project.

The project is a large Steel frame build, you will be setting out for the Groundworks with mix of piled and strip foundations as well as the roads and sewers or the site.

You will join the management team of the main contractor, overseeing all QA and technical queries from key sub-contractors. You will also be required to set out some elements of the project not included within sub-contractors packages. You will provide technical insight and advice for the management team on the project.

The project is programmed in for 18 months, so you will likely on the project for the whole duration if you are happy to work as part of the site management team going forward.

CSCS card will be required for this role, and any additional qualifications including First Aid and SMSTS would be welcomed. We are happy to accept engineers with or without equipment on this project.
